The Mexico Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team is seeking an Automation Project Engineer to own and execute deployments of automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) into our Mexican Delivery Station Network. The successful candidate will join the Emerging Countries Engineering team and will lead deployments including design, project management, installation and commissioning across MX.

Based in Mexico City with frequent travel, this role partners with WW teams to benchmark and support parallel

Formación

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
4+ years in industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineering.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
English fluency (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsabilidades

Design and own automation deployments for MX last mile operations
Author business cases to introduce automation to the MX Delivery Stations
Provide technical documentation including flow diagrams, equipment layouts, installation details, schedules and budgets for new automation systems
Support lessons learnt program for next generation design iterations
Work with design and controls teams to detail integration plans for MHE automation
Support execution of new MHE automation installations with field teams and scalable turnkey deployment approach
Support development and implementation of Service and Maintenance concepts for AMZL Field teams
