Amazon Logistics in Mexico City is seeking an Automation Project Engineer to own and execute deployments of automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) into our Mexican Delivery Station Network. The role sits within the Emerging Countries Engineering team and covers design, project management, installation, commissioning and ramp-up performance tracking across MX Delivery Stations.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Process Engineering, Operations, Facilities and Engineering teams to

Formación

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ years of experience in industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineering.
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Fluent in English (reading/writing/listening).

Responsabilidades

Design and own automation deployments for MX last mile operations.
Author business cases to introduce automation to the MX Delivery Stations network.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical documentation (flow diagrams, layouts, installation details, schedules, budgets).
Support lessons learned program for improvements in next-gen design iterations.
Detail integration plans for MHE automation with design and controls teams.
Support deployment of new MHE installations with field teams, defining scalable turnkey approaches.
Contribute to development and implementation of Service and Maintenance concepts for AMZL Field teams.
