Amazon is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team for Mexico operations. You will fault find, troubleshoot, and improve controls for automated material handling equipment across sites.

Responsibilities include acting as SME for controls systems, training technicians, and coordinating with Global Controls and Operations teams to document systems and support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Formación

Experience with PLC controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
Experience in engineering and estimating material handling and storage systems.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
Experience in oral and written communication in English.
Bachelor's degree.

Responsabilidades

Be the site level SME for all controls systems and sensors within the building.
Train technicians in control systems fault finding.
Work with Global Controls network to monitor MHE metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects.
Document systems and maintain backup libraries.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Support other sites in the Mexico network.
