Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services is seeking an experienced Sr Automation Engineer to drive expansion in our Middle Mile. You will design complex material handling equipment, including sorters and vision guided systems, and own implementation from planning to deployment.

Based in Mexico, you will travel regularly within the country and occasionally internationally, lead cross-functional infrastructure projects, and partner with executives to deliver scalable automation solutions with strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years managing multiple large projects.
5+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
Experience with automated material handling equipment.
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360).
Fluent in English, able to take direction in English.

Responsibilities

Lead Automation initiatives (autosorters).
Support business case, design and deployment for automation.
Prepare specifications detailing environment, equipment, material, process and services.
Review drawings and layouts to ensure requirements are met.
Engage cross-functional infrastructure projects and provide technical input.
Lead projects with project managers, engineers and contractors.
