Job summary

Amazon Business Mexico is seeking a Category Merchant Manager to own a category end-to-end, define strategy, and drive multi-million dollar targets. You will lead relationships with procurement and executive teams, deliver business insights, and train customers and sellers on Amazon Business solutions.

The role requires strong influencing skills, customer focus, and cross-functional collaboration to improve selection, pricing, and availability in the MX market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of sales experience.
• 8+ years of digital sales, account management, business development, or partner management experience.
• Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
• Experience managing and growing complex business relationships at scale.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, reading).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own category P&L and reach top and bottom line goals by executing targets.
• Own and manage KPIs including selection, pricing, and availability across the category.
• Identify and grow business customer and seller commitment to Amazon Business.
• Develop regional territory plans and report on them quarterly.
• Drive lead generation and prospect acquisition for the category.
• Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to test and measure tactical plans.
• Partner with Category and Product Management to drive product improvement ideas.
• Prepare and deliver business reviews to executives and stakeholders.
• Manage complex contract negotiations and liaise with legal teams.
