Jabil in Mexico seeks an experienced Master Planner to manage all planning activities for the dedicated workcell and mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators. You will own MPS, BOM creation, and material planning while ensuring 100% on-time delivery.

The role requires 8 years in planning with 1.5 years as Master Planner, a Bachelor’s degree, and APICS certification preferred. Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and the ability to optimize capacity are essential.

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• APICS certification and supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates, test development lead times and complete understanding of the chronological sequence of events to build a product.
• Experience of 8 years in Planning Activities; 1.5 years as Master Planner.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Establish build readiness.
• Maintain efficiency of capacity and customer sizing.
• Maintain accurate revenue forecasting.
• Maintain material control and liability.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into Jabil’s ERP system, including PO coverage.
• Reconcile the MPS to customer PO coverage weekly to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure the MPS is 100% accurate and achievable.
• Own production planning, BOM and document control with or without additional support.
• Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the Workcell and customer.
• Maintain the workcell’s capacity planning model and resolve uneven capacity utilization.
• Meet daily with the Workcell and manufacturing team to assess production schedules and optimize run quantities.
