Jabil in Mexico (Sonora region) is seeking a Production Planner to manage all planning activities for the assigned workcell and mentor planners and coordinators. The role focuses on ensuring 100% on-time delivery, build readiness, and accurate forecasting using MRP and ERP systems.

You will own the Master Production Schedule, BOMs, and routings, coordinate with manufacturing teams, and drive improvements in capacity utilization and changeover reduction to meet customer demand and contract terms.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Master’s + 3 years in a related field
• APICS certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRP, lead times, and production sequencing
• Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience

Responsabilidades

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Establish build readiness and maintain capacity efficiency.
• Maintain revenue forecasting and material control.
• Develop MPS and load into ERP with PO coverage.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Maintain 100% accuracy of MPS and achieve 95% target.
• Own production planning, BOM and document control.
• Lead BOM/routing creation for accurate WIP tracking.
• Manage EOL planning, KPIs, and escalation tactics.
