Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco is opening a Sommelier position within Hyatt Hotels Corporation. You will lead a refined wine program, provide expert recommendations, and engage guests with storytelling and personalized service.

As a key wine authority, you will collaborate with culinary and service teams to deliver memorable experiences, manage cellar operations, and contribute to profitability in a luxury setting.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sommelier or wine professional in luxury hospitality or fine dining.
• Strong knowledge of international and Mexican wines, regions, producers, varieties and vintages.
• Wine certification such as CMS, WSET, ASI, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Luxury hotel and/or pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with premium wines, wine service, cellar organization, inventory control and stock management.
• Strong guest engagement, communication, storytelling and guided-selling skills.
• Passion for sharing wine knowledge and developing colleagues through tastings and training.
• Commercial awareness with understanding of wine cost, pricing, inventory, revenue and profitability.
