Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group seeks a Director of Group Sales to support Rosewood Mayakoba and Rosewood Mandarina. The role leads day-to-day Group Sales operations and supports the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Open to candidates in Dallas, NJ, or NYC, compensation will be in USD. The ideal candidate will drive group revenue, mentor the sales team, and cultivate strategic accounts through proactive solicitation, site inspections, and partnerships with travel partners and planners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Marketing or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years hotel sales experience, luxury brand preferred.
Must speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage and develop group accounts to achieve revenue goals via calls, site visits, and relationship-building.
Identify and convert group opportunities in assigned markets in line with strategic plan.
Develop and execute sales action plan to drive group room nights and catering revenue.
Monitor and aim to exceed budgeted group sales, room revenue, and profitability targets.
Lead and mentor the Group Sales team; provide ongoing coaching and support.
Conduct strategic sales calls and maintain relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and planners.
Plan compelling site inspections reflecting Rosewood’s positioning and service standards.
