Rosewood Mexico City is preparing a landmark luxury hotel pre-opening in the Polanco district. We seek an accomplished Managing Director to oversee all aspects of performance, operations, culture and positioning.

You will guide the transition from development to operation, and build the opening team and brand presence. We require strong commercial acumen, inspirational leadership, and a proven track record in urban luxury hotels with significant F&B, events, wellness, and lifestyle programming.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading in luxury or ultra-luxury hotel environments.
• Successful prior pre-opening leadership in high-end properties.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with sustainable results.
• Ability to attract, develop and retain high-performing teams.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

• Lead the successful pre-opening and positioning of Rosewood Mexico City as a premier luxury lifestyle destination.
• Define and execute the property's long-term strategic vision, annual business plan and operating budget.
• Deliver sustainable financial performance and market leadership across all business segments.
• Build, inspire and develop a high-performing executive team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Champion exceptional guest experiences through highly personalized service and relationship hospitality.
• Establish connections with Mexico City's art, culture, fashion, gastronomy and wellness communities through partnerships.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with owners, stakeholders, government representatives and the local community.
• Ensure operational excellence, asset stewardship, regulatory compliance and long-term value protection.
