Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the LTSA Global Project & Offer Excellence SR Specialist for Substation Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA), you will act as the commercial backbone and Center of Competence for Siemens Energy's global LTSA business.

You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the global LTSA operating model, including offer methodologies, commercial frameworks, governance standards, proposal templates, risk assessment approaches, pricing methodologies, and offer-to-order handover requirements. In addition, you will actively support regions in developing strategic LTSA opportunities and provide direct offer preparation support for regions that do not have dedicated LTSA resources.

Working closely with the Global Head of Substation LTSA, regional sales teams, technical experts, execution units, finance, legal, and supply chain management, you will ensure that LTSA opportunities are developed consistently, efficiently, and according to global standards while maintaining local ownership of customer relationships and execution.

Your mission is to transform LTSA offering activities from a regional and project-specific approach into a globally standardized, scalable, and repeatable business model that enables sustainable growth across all regions.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Establish, own, and continuously improve the global LTSA offer and order management framework, including governance, processes, standards, templates, approval workflows, and offer-to-order handover requirements.
  • Develop and maintain globally applicable LTSA offering standards, commercial methodologies, pricing approaches, risk assessment tools, proposal structures, and framework agreement templates.
  • Act as the global Center of Competence for LTSA offer preparation, providing advisory and hands-on support to regions that do not have dedicated LTSA offer management resources.
  • Lead and support strategic, cross-regional, and complex LTSA pursuits by coordinating offer development, contract structuring, commercial qualification, and bid governance activities.
  • Create and maintain Global Service Agreement (GSA) frameworks and master contract structures that enable efficient deployment of LTSA contracts across multiple regions and customer locations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional bid activities involving Sales, Engineering, Service Operations, Finance, Legal, SCM, and execution organizations to ensure competitive and executable customer solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, lessons learned, training programs, and capability building across regional LTSA communities.
  • Monitor pipeline development, offer performance, governance compliance, and business metrics to support management decision-making and continuous business growth.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, or a related discipline combined with extensive experience in energy, transmission, grid technologies, or industrial service businesses.
  • Proven experience in proposal management, bid management, commercial project management, long-term service agreements, or complex solution selling within international organizations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract structuring, framework agreements, pricing, risk management, business case development, governance processes, and offer lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish standards, methodologies, and best practices while influencing stakeholders across global matrix organizations.
  • Sound understanding of substation technologies, asset lifecycle services, long-term maintenance concepts, or comparable service-based business models.
  • Highly structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills and a passion for enabling business growth through operational excellence.
