Job summary

Emerson in Ciudad Juárez, MX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to ensure products are built to US-designed specs by interpreting drawings, norms, standards, and codes. You will lead lean initiatives (5S, layout changes, POKA YOKE), develop and certify technicians, optimize calibration routines, and coordinate tool purchases, validation, and installation with QA support.

Advanced English is required; some travel to the USA may be needed.

Qualifications

Engineering degree compatible with the assigned area.
Advanced English required.
Minimum 5 years in relevant manufacturing/engineer roles.
Willingness to schedule flex and travel to USA (visa).
Experience with global teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assure products are manufactured to US designs and codes.
Promote modern manufacturing systems for competitive advantage.
Develop technicians and certify operators in manufacturing areas.
Lead lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, layout changes, POKA YOKE, BOM/routings).
Develop and improve calibration routines for equipment and tooling.
Coordinate time studies, capacity analysis and cell design.
Budget, evaluate, select and purchase tools/equipment; coordinate validation/installation.
Identify and correct complex failures and disposition nonconforming material.
