Job summary

Bosch Group in Juárez, Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence across production lines.

You will design, develop, and analyze manufacturing processes, collaborate with quality, production, and supply chain teams, and apply Lean and problem-solving methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, and production systems with proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with manufacturing engineering tools and methodologies.
• Strong expertise in problem-solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone Diagram, 5Why analysis, 6Sigma, and Shainin techniques.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing planning tools.
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills with inductive and deductive reasoning.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence across departments and regions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining safety and compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive process analysis using advanced methodologies.
• Collaborate with quality, production, and supply chain to ensure seamless process execution and continuous enhancement.
• Apply problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone, 5Why, 6Sigma/Shainin) to investigate root causes and develop sustainable solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs reflecting best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to drive informed decisions and goals.
• Lead or participate in Lean Manufacturing and CI initiatives to eliminate waste and boost performance.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Support new product launches by developing manufacturing strategies, production plans, and resource requirements.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and customers to address requirements and build collaborations.
• Stay current with industry trends and manufacturing innovations to keep processes competitive.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, production, and supply chain to ensure seamless process execution and continuous enhancement
