Marriott International is seeking a Kitchen Operations Assistant to help manage daily kitchen utility operations and staff at our property in Mexico. You will handle dish room, night cleaning, back dock cleaning, and banquet plating while aiming to improve guest and employee satisfaction within budget constraints.

The role emphasizes supervising day-to-day activities, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring smooth service delivery across shifts.

Formación

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience; or 2-year degree with 1 year related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in managing day-to-day kitchen operations and staff.
• Oversees dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensures proper sanitation, food handling, and compliance with laws and standards.
• Monitors inventories of food, equipment, and supplies; reports shortages.
• Acts as a role model and leads by example to achieve goals.

Educación

High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
