Yanfeng in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineering leader to oversee a team of 6–10 engineers. You will drive development, optimization, and implementation of automotive manufacturing processes, focusing on productivity, quality, cost reduction, safety, and engineering change programs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical issues and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards while supporting new program launches and process

Formación

• Experience leading a technical team in manufacturing settings.
• Strong ability to plan workload and track critical activities.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, setup instructions, visuals, standardized work, and parameters.
• Familiarity with process documentation and change management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise Process and Controls Engineers, including workload planning and critical activity follow-up.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes and work methods.
• Manage manufacturing documentation, including PFMEA, setup instructions, visual aids, standardized work, and process parameters.
• Lead process improvements, Poka-Yoke implementation, capacity analysis, and production line balancing.
• Support Production in achieving JPH and operational targets.
• Support manufacturing process changes, equipment transfers, engineering changes, and new program launches.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Advanced Manufacturing, and Launch teams to solve technical and operational issues.
• Support new program launches through process documentation, parameter definition, operator methods, equipment validation, and R&R studies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Responsible for leading the Manufacturing Process Engineering team, overseeing 6–10 direct reports and driving the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes within the automotive industry.

Provides technical and operational leadership focused on process improvement, productivity, quality, cost reduction, safety, and successful implementation of engineering changes and new programs.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise
