Formación

• Minimum 6 years in Process or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process engineering activities to meet safety, cost, and quality goals.

The Process Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating Process Engineering activities to ensure manufacturing processes are safe, capable, standardized, and cost-effective. This position provides hands-on technical support to production, drives process improvements, supports new product and technology transfers.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate Process Engineering activities to support production, quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives.
2. Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor to resolve process, equipment, quality, and productivity issues.
3. Ensure appropriate process controls, work instructions, parameters, and manufacturing standards are implemented and maintained.
4. Drive process standardization and share best practices between local and international manufacturing sites.
5. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring manufacturing and customer-related issues.
6. Support new product introductions, equipment installations, technology transfers, and manufacturing line transfers.
7. Identify and implement improvements focused on yield, cycle time, capacity, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, and process capability.
8. Coordinate Process Engineering support for regional supplier development and manufacturing improvement activities.
9. Participate in PFMEA reviews, risk assessments, process qualifications, and validation activities.
10. Monitor engineering projects, priorities, deliverables, and implementation schedules.
11. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functional areas.
12. Prepare technical reports, project updates, process performance analyses, and engineering indicators.
13. Develop contingency plans to minimize manufacturing risks and prevent interruptions to production.
14. Ensure compliance with company procedures, engineering standards, quality requirements, and applicable safety regulations.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Previous experience leading engineers, technicians, or technical projects.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting production floor operations and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Experience with manufacturing transfers, process implementation, or new product introduction is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of process controls, equipment qualification, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, PFMEA, DOE, SPC, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience analyzing process data using statistical tools.
• Understanding of automation, mechanical, electrical, and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of project cost analysis, productivity improvements, and capital justification is preferred.
