Vivaaerobus in Monterrey seeks an experienced Labor Relations Manager to lead comprehensive labor relations and union management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with operational needs. You will handle negotiations, investigations, terminations with a human-centered approach, and partner with leadership to maintain stability and continuity in a fast-growing airline.

Formación

• 6–10 years of experience in Labor Relations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in organizations with 2,000+ employees.
• Experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience managing union relationships and labor reforms.
• Knowledge of terminations with a human-centered approach.
• Intermediate-advanced English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead the comprehensive Labor Relations and Union Management strategy aligned with business priorities
• Lead the implementation of labor reforms and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with the current legal framework
• Manage the strategic relationship with union representatives: negotiations, agreement follow-up, and preventive strategies
• Act as a strategic partner to operational and leadership teams on high-impact decisions: discipline, productivity, and operational continuity
• Address and resolve highly complex labor cases, conflicts, and internal investigations
• Oversee key processes: terminations, disciplinary actions, and organizational movements

As our Labor Relations Manager, you will lead the comprehensive Labor Relations and Union Management strategy, ensuring preventive management aligned with the operational, financial, and cultural needs of the business. You will be responsible for compliance with current labor regulations, the implementation of labor reforms, management of the union relationship, and mitigation of labor risks—promoting labor peace, organizational stability, and operational continuity. You will execute strategies with organizational impact, supporting operational processes, negotiations, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring balanced decisions between operations, the legal framework, and the employee experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Design and lead the comprehensive Labor Relations and Union Management strategy aligned with business priorities
2. Lead the implementation of labor reforms and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with the current legal framework
3. Manage the strategic relationship with union representatives: negotiations, agreement follow-up, and preventive strategies

Our ideal candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law (a diploma, specialization, or master's degree in Labor Law is a plus)
2. 6 to 10 years of experience in Labor Relations, including at least 3 years in a leadership (Jefatura) role
3. Experience in organizations with a headcount of 2,000+ employees
4. Experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and managing union relationships
5. Knowledge of terminations with a human-centered approach
6. Intermediate-advanced English
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
