International Paper seeks an IT Business Specialist in Querétaro, Mexico, to bridge business needs with IT solutions. You will support applications, troubleshoot issues, and help enhance systems while learning across IT and business domains.

The role is ideal for a recent engineering or IT graduate up to two years of experience who approaches problems methodically, communicates clearly, and takes ownership to help users succeed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Recent graduate or up to two years of relevant experience.
• Internships, university projects, or placements considered.
• Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with business users to understand operational needs and challenges.
• Provide second-level support for business applications and IT solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents using a structured, evidence-based approach.
• Break down problems into clear, sequential, verifiable steps.
• Document incidents, actions, and solutions with traceability.
• Coordinate issue resolution with IT teams, SMEs, and vendors.
• Maintain clear communication with users during resolution.
• Participate in testing, deployments, and optimization efforts.
• Develop and maintain user guides and knowledge resources.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation projects.
• Monitor priorities, risks, and deadlines.
