Job summary

Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager for IT. You will own IT sourcing initiatives, develop category strategies, and lead end-to-end RFx events to secure favorable terms and measured savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years in Sourcing or related work experience; or 8+ years with Associate's degree; or 10+ years with high school diploma.
• Experience in IT category: software, hardware and services; large matrixed organizations a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal and business leaders to align sourcing outcomes to priorities and roadmaps.
• Build and execute IT sourcing strategies to maximize value, manage risk and support objectives.
• Lead RFx events end-to-end: scope, tender build, evaluate proposals and award negotiations.
• Use spend analytics, benchmarks and cost models for decision-ready options with clear trade-offs.
• Negotiate and contract in line with corporate standards to mitigate risk and protect value.
• Drive cross-functional execution and negotiations; anticipate impacts of changing requirements, timelines and volumes.
• Manage a portfolio of sourcing projects and deadlines; improve processes and drive best-practice adoption across Source-to-Contract lifecycle.
