Job summary

Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager for IT. You will own IT sourcing initiatives, develop category strategies, and lead end-to-end RFx events to secure favorable terms and measured savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years in Sourcing or related work experience; or 8+ years with Associate's degree; or 10+ years with high school diploma.
• Experience in IT category: software, hardware and services; large matrixed organizations a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

OR Associate's degree and 8+ years of Sourcing or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Sourcing or related work experience. \\*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.**Preferred Qualifications:**• 3+ years of experience in a large matrixed organization. 2+ years of experience interacting with senior leadership (Director level and above). Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT or a related field.• Proven IT category experience, including sourcing of software, hardware and services.• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, project management and conflict-resolution skills.• High EQ and strong stakeholder/customer orientation; comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.• Strong analytical capability (spend analytics, cost modeling, what-if analysis) and proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms.• Strategic and creative thinker who can structure complex problems and drive practical solutions.• Working knowledge of IT supplier markets, subcategories, leading vendors and key industry trends.• Track record of delivering year-over-year, multi-million-dollar savings and measurable value outcomes.**Applicants**: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
