Cargo-Partner Mexico in Puebla is seeking an Inside Sales professional to maintain and develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, prepare quotations and support the Outside Sales team in generating new business.

You will work with customers, pricing and operations to offer competitive Air and Ocean Freight solutions, manage a healthy sales pipeline, conduct prospecting activities, and ensure accurate data in Salesforce and SPOT.

Formación

• English required for written and spoken communication.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, Air Freight, Ocean Freight, transportation or related industry preferred.

Cargo-Partner is an international freight forwarder and logistics company specializing in Air and Ocean Freight solutions and integrated supply chain services. We are looking for an Inside Sales professional to join our team in Puebla. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, customer service, international logistics and who wants to develop their career within the freight forwarding industry. Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation or a related industry is highly desirable. We are also open to candidates who have a strong interest in the logistics industry and demonstrate the commercial skills and motivation to learn.

The Role

As an Inside Sales professional you will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations and supporting the Outside Sales team in generating new business.

You will work closely with customers, Pricing, Operations and international agents to provide competitive and accurate Air and Ocean Freight solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Account Management

• Maintain regular communication with active clients and prospects through email and WhatsApp.
• Follow up on customer needs, inquiries and service requests.
• Provide timely responses to quotation requests and customer requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, retention and business growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer accounts.

Quotation Management

• Request freight rates from the Pricing team and/or international agents based on shipment requirements.
• Prepare and submit detailed quotations using CargoWise (CW).
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing, transit times and service offerings.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and identify opportunities to convert them into business.

Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Conduct active prospecting through:
  • Email outreach
  • Cold calls
  • LinkedIn research and lead identification
  • Company platforms such as SPOT and Salesforce
• Identify and qualify potential customers according to the company's target market.
• Generate appointments and qualified opportunities for Outside Sales Representatives.
• Maintain a healthy and organized pipeline of potential customers.
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales process.

Data Entry & Account Setup

• Register new customer accounts in Salesforce (SF) and SPOT.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information.
• Ensure relevant sales and customer data is properly recorded in company systems.

Requirements

• English is required – ability to communicate effectively in English written and spoken.
• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, Air Freight, Ocean Freight, transportation, international trade or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong interest in developing a career within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
• Customer-oriented and commercially minded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and conducting active prospecting.
• Ability to follow up consistently and manage multiple opportunities.
• Organized, proactive and results-oriented.
