General Motors in Guanajuato, Silao, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to drive controls system development for high‑quality parts. You will operate in a centralized engineering setting or on‑site, contributing to new program launches with creativity and judgment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, knowledge of PLCs, FANUC robots, vision systems, and preventive maintenance, plus strong English skills for cross‑site collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or Mechatronics engineering.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and interpretation of mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
• More than 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Execute new program implementation and controls/robotics design.
• Lead design, construction, integration, plant installation, and successful launches.
• Ensure sustained daily productivity and provide maintenance support.
• Provide project reports to senior management and mentor junior engineers.
