General Motors de México is seeking an Automation Engineer to ensure operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of plant automation. You will design, program, integrate, and maintain industrial control solutions, focusing on safety and efficiency.

Candidate should have 2+ years in manufacturing, experience with PLCs and robots, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role follows a 4x3 or similar shift pattern and requires a hands-on, proactive approach.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum two years in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong focus on safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, program, and optimize automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs, robots).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot failures in automated equipment and lines.
• Collaborate to ensure operational continuity with maintenance and quality teams.
• Document changes and configurations for traceability.
• Train personnel on operation and maintenance of automated systems.
