Magna Powertrain in Mexico is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for machining to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and safety of production lines through optimization, programming, and maintenance of electronic control systems. The role requires 5+ years in machining processes and CNC programming, with automotive experience preferred.

The engineer will manage engineering projects, costs, documentation, and changes, coordinating with CNC/ PLC and automation teams to deliver improvements.

Formación

• Inglés técnico ~70% requerido.
• 5+ años de experiencia en maquinado y programación CNC.
• Al menos 2 años como Ingeniero de Controles de maquinado, preferentemente en automotriz.

Responsabilidades

• Garantizar la máxima disponibilidad, eficiencia y seguridad de las líneas de producción mediante la optimización, programación y mantenimiento de los sistemas de control electrónico de los equipos.
• Gestión de proyectos de Ingeniería y control de costos y presupuestos.
• Documentación y Control de Cambios; liderazgo en mantenimiento y respaldos.
• Colaboración estrecha con CNC, PLC e integradores para mejoras continuas.
