Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking an Industrial Eng Technician I to support the Industrial Engineering department in planning, designing, implementing, and managing production and service delivery systems. The role focuses on layout and process changes and entering data into IE-related systems.

You will assist with line moves, update the IEDB, and create production visuals under the guidance of the Industrial Engineer, while ensuring standardization of processes and strong data integrity across the

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools including work measurement, process mapping, facilities and workstation design.
• Detail-oriented when updating systems and data.
• Basic analytical ability and communication skills.
• Proficient with PC and MS Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in area preparation for line move or process change.
• Update the IEDB database as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Update or create production visuals as directed by the IE.
• Order, receive and validate tooling as directed by the IE.
• Help standardize Jabil processes across the site per direction.
• Support Lean by maintaining data integrity for process improvements.
• Comply with all security procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
