Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Process Engineering Lead in Mexico to oversee the Process Engineering department with a focus on efficiency and integrity. The role directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, provides training in equipment maintenance, programming, and data file creation, and collaborates with line supervisors to optimize machine performance and yields.

The position requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement across plant lines.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Process Engineering department with high efficiency, integrity, and enthusiasm.
• Directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on lines to optimize machine and process efficiency.
• Provides training to technicians in equipment maintenance, repair, programming, and PD file creation.
• Interfaces with supervisors and engineers to determine corrective actions for yields and efficiency.
• Manages MET coverage when absent and steps in during critical needs.
• Assists in process performance optimization for IR reflow, wave solder, and screen printing, and tool design.
