Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a skilled inventory professional in Mexico to determine and control optimal levels of tools, spare parts, consumables, chemicals, and indirect materials, ensuring timely replenishment and availability.

You will maintain warehouse accuracy, develop visual management for storage areas, and monitor KPIs related to inventory costs, consumption, and shortages while leading a team to sustain a continuous improvement culture.

Formación

• Engineering degree required or preferred field.
• English level: Intermediate/Advanced.
• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Willingness to travel, including international travel (USA visa).

Responsabilidades

• Determine, analyze, and control optimal inventory levels of tools, spare parts, consumables, chemicals, gases, and indirect materials; ensure timely replenishment and material availability through planning.
• Ensure proper identification, storage, location, preservation, and availability of all materials under warehouse control.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, visual controls, audits, and discrepancy investigations; develop visual management systems and best practices for IDM Warehouse, chemical storage, and gas storage areas.
• Develop, analyze, and monitor KPIs related to inventory levels, costs, consumption, accuracy, availability, and shortages; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate performance of personnel by setting priorities, allocating resources, promoting training, and fostering a high-performance, continuous improvement culture.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Determine, analyze, and control optimal inventory levels of tools, spare parts, consumables, chemicals, gases, and other indirect materials, ensuring timely replenishment and material
  availability through effective planning.
• Ensure the proper identification, storage, location, preservation, and availability of all
  materials under warehouse control.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, visual controls, audits, and investigation of discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  Develop and implement visual management systems, organizational standards, and best practices to maintain the IDM Warehouse, chemical storage, and gas storage areas clean, organized, safe, and efficient.
• Develop, analyze, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory levels,
  inventory costs, consumption, inventory accuracy, material availability, and shortages,
  implementing corrective actions when required.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate the performance of personnel under his/her responsibility
  by establishing priorities, assigning resources, promoting training, and fostering a high-
  performance and continuous improvement culture.

• Education: Degree in Engineering or preferred field.
• English: Intermediate/Advanced
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Ability to travel including internationally(USA - VISA).
