Job summary

Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking an IAM Operations professional to support day-to-day identity and access management and provide minor automation opportunities. You will handle provisioning, deprovisioning, and approvals while ensuring compliance with access policies.

The role requires 2–5 years in IT support, security operations, or IAM, with experience in Active Directory/Entra ID and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in IT support, security operations, IAM, or related systems administration.
• Experience with access control concepts such as least privilege and RBAC.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Familiarity with authentication concepts (SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth).

Responsibilities

• Process identity and access requests, including provisioning and deprovisioning based on approved tickets.
• Execute joiner/mover/leaver activities to ensure correct account creation and removal.
• Validate approvals and ensure adherence to access control policies.
• Fulfill access requests across AD, Entra ID, and cloud apps.
• Support access reviews, data gathering, and record maintenance.
• Troubleshoot login issues, account lockouts, and permission gaps.
• Identify opportunities to automate IAM tasks and work with seniors on improvements.
• Contribute to scripting or configuration changes to IAM workflows.
