MezTal is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a growing customer-facing technical team. The role sits between traditional customer support and software engineering, handling complex issues, reviewing configurations, and working with code when needed.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot across product functionality, integrations, and workflows, communicate clearly with customers, and contribute to onboarding, implementations, and migrations.

Formación

• Experience in technical support, technical implementation, solutions engineering, integration support, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently investigate technical problems and determine potential solutions.
• Comfortable translating technical concepts for customers and guiding them through troubleshooting steps.
• Experience with software integrations (APIs, webhooks).
• Reviewing code or configurations to diagnose issues when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced technical support for customers, handling issues that require deeper investigation beyond standard frontline support.
• Troubleshoot complex customer issues across product functionality, configurations, integrations, and technical workflows.
• Investigate problems independently and move beyond predefined procedures when necessary.
• Communicate with customers to understand issues, explain solutions, and guide troubleshooting steps.
• Review existing code, configurations, logs, or documentation to diagnose problems.
• Work with integrations and connected systems, including APIs and webhooks.
• Assist with onboarding, implementation, migrations, and integrations for new customers.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Integration Engineering, Product, and Engineering as needed.
• Determine when issues can be resolved independently vs escalated to Product/Engineering.
• Use tools and research to resolve unfamiliar technical problems.
• Help improve support and implementation processes as the team grows.
• Document recurring issues and troubleshooting approaches.
