Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide reliable L2 support for banking and financial applications, resolving incidents and coordinating with tech partners to deliver lasting solutions.

You will work independently on most issues while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and performance in a hybrid work setting.

Formación

• More than 3 years of experience in application support roles focused on banking or financial applications, at L2 service level (not infrastructure or hardware support).
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Unix, SQL, Mainframe, and Oracle Database in a production support environment.
• Practical knowledge of incident and problem management practices, including ITIL frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver L2 application support for banking and financial systems, resolving incidents and stakeholder queries by providing fixes and remediation with technology partners.
• Manage the full incident and problem lifecycle using structured management tools, ensuring timely resolution, accurate tracking, and clear reporting.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and internal technology teams and vendors, translating technical findings into clear communications.
• Coordinate post-release validation checks following deployments and infrastructure updates to confirm system integrity and performance.
• Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues, and elevate findings with remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize bug fixes and align on technical requirements based on business impact.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation for the wider support team.
• Participate in disaster recovery assessments and stability initiatives within the application support function.
