Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Application Analyst to provide responsive, customer-focused operational support for assigned application systems. You will analyze and resolve issues, implement documented resolutions, and partner with technical teams to keep critical platforms running reliably. Hybrid Working Model: 2-3 days per week in the office.

Experience required: 0-3 years. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong SQL skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in application, technical, or customer support with a focus on delivering excellent service.
• Proficiency in SQL and foundational database concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve low-complexity customer application issues using documented solutions and established processes.
• Assess scope and impact of issues and implement workarounds to restore service quickly.
• Escalate issues to technical teams when needed.
• Provide guidance and training to users on application functionality.
• Monitor production and non-production environments to identify potential issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and relate issues to system or environment problems.
• Support smaller projects requiring focused technical expertise.
• Participate in project planning and status updates for issues and projects.
• Manage multiple priorities with guidance while following standards.
