Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Application Analyst to provide responsive, customer-focused operational support for assigned application systems. The role involves investigating root causes, implementing documented resolutions, and partnering with technical teams to keep platforms running reliably.

The position offers a Hybrid Working Model (2-3 days in the office) and requires 0-3 years of relevant experience, with strong SQL and communication skills to support users and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a IT/ STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in application or technical support with a strong service focus.
• Proficiency in SQL and basics of database administration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve low-complexity customer application issues using documented solutions.
• Assess scope and customer impact and implement workarounds to restore service quickly.
• Escalate issues and engage technical teams when needed.
• Provide guidance and training to users on application functionality.
• Monitor production and non-production environments to identify issues.
• Perform low-complexity root cause analysis and correlate with related system problems.
• Support smaller projects requiring focused technical expertise.
• Participate in project planning and status updates for issues and operations.
• Manage multiple priorities with guidance while following standards.
• Communicate with team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.
