Empresa Confidencial seeks an experienced HR Shared Services Manager to lead payroll, data management, and support services across several entities in Mexico.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive digitalization and process improvements while delivering an outstanding employee experience.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field.
  • Significant progressive experience in HR Operations, HR Services, Shared Services, Payroll, HR Administration, or similar service delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing multidisciplinary HR teams and HR service delivery in multinational or matrix org.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead, manage, motivate, and develop the HR Services function with clear accountability and collaboration.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant HR Services delivery in line with SLAs and standards.
  • Define and continuously improve payroll, working time, master data, employee support, and mobility processes.
  • Ensure data integrity across HR systems and serve as a contact for HR stakeholders.
  • Oversee tax and social security filings, compliance, and regulatory changes.
  • Govern governance of HR systems including access rights, data protection, and retention.
  • Coordinate local development, testing, and implementation of global HR updates.
  • Provide local input to regional/global HR on processes and systems.
  • Drive process standardization, digitalization, automation, and knowledge management.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Shared Services Manager to lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of HR Services across multiple legal entities in Mexico.

This position is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and employee-focused HR Services, including payroll, employee and organizational data management, working time administration, employee support services, international assignments, temporary workforce administration, and HR systems governance.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a multidisciplinary HR Services team while ensuring operational excellence, data integrity, regulatory compliance, service quality, and the effective implementation of global and local HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead, manage, motivate, and develop the HR Services function, ensuring clear accountability, effective collaboration, and achievement of defined business objectives.

-Ensure the consistent and accurate delivery of HR Services in accordance with established service level agreements and organizational standards.

-Define, implement, manage, and continuously improve operational processes related to:

  • Payroll administration
  • Working time management
  • Employee and organizational master data
  • Employee Centre and case management
  • International assignments and relocation processes
  • Temporary workforce administration
  • Employee support and HR Services queries

-Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee, payroll, and working time data across HR systems.

-Serve as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and HR stakeholders regarding HR -Services, providing topic-specific guidance, identifying issues, and facilitating effective solutions.

-Ensure compliance with applicable labor, tax, social security, data privacy, records management, collective agreement, and company-specific requirements.

-Oversee all required tax and social security filings, reconciliations, payroll records, and supporting documentation, ensuring accurate and timely completion.

-Monitor changes in local legislation and regulatory requirements, assess their potential impact, and ensure timely implementation within relevant HR Services processes and systems.

-Represent the HR Services function during internal and external audits and in interactions with relevant authorities.

-Ensure appropriate governance of HR systems, including local access rights, data protection requirements, records retention, and data erasure processes.

-Coordinate local system development, maintenance, testing, and implementation activities related to global updates, local regulatory changes, and new HR technology requirements.

-Provide local requirements and business input to regional and global HR functions regarding HR Services processes, international assignments, and supporting systems.

-Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, digitalization, automation, -knowledge management, and the effective use of HR technology.

-Enable employees, managers, and HR teams to effectively use HR Services systems, tools, processes, and products through communication, consultation, training, and guidance.

-Partner closely with HR teams, business leaders, Finance, Tax, IT, expert functions, external vendors, benefit providers, auditors, and relevant authorities.

-Manage external service providers and vendor relationships, ensuring service quality, compliance, and alignment with organizational requirements.

-Plan, monitor, and control the HR Services budget and resources to ensure their efficient and responsible use.

-Support change management initiatives related to HR processes, systems, service delivery models, and organizational changes.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Significant progressive experience in HR Operations, HR Services, Shared Services, Payroll, HR Administration, or a comparable service delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary HR teams.
  • Experience leading HR service delivery within a multinational or matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll administration, working time management, employee data administration, and HR service delivery.
  • Solid understanding of labor, tax, social security, data privacy, and records management requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with local and global HR policies, processes, and governance standards.
  • Experience managing HR systems, HRIS optimization, system updates, testing, or implementation activities.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement, digitalization, automation, or transformational initiatives.
  • Experience managing vendors, external service providers, and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong communication, consultation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, projects, budgets, and resources in a complex operational environment.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting a large employee population across multiple legal entities.
  • Experience within manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or another complex operational environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with payroll and benefits management, employee relations, workforce administration, and international mobility.
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics, reporting, service performance indicators, and SLA management.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, process standardization, project management, or change management methodologies.
