SIG Group is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Analyst – Mexico to join the People & Culture Operations team in Querétaro, Mexico. You will execute and oversee payroll across Mexico, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Lead end-to-end payroll processes for North America, collaborate with HR and payroll vendors, and provide SME guidance on regional payroll laws within a dynamic shared services environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in Payroll Operations or Shared Services.
  • Experience managing multi-country payroll processes.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance in Mexico.

Responsabilidades

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for United States, Mexico, and Canada.
  • Perform payroll calculations including salaries, overtime, bonuses, taxes, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Validate payroll inputs received from HR and operational teams.
  • Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, payroll audits, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and statutory documentation as required.
  • Act as SME for complex payroll matters and regional regulations.
  • Provide backup support for other payroll activities within Shared Services.

About the Role

We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Analyst – Mexico to join our People & Culture Operations team in Querétaro, Mexico.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing payroll operations across the Mexico, ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and adherence to payroll controls and validation procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong multi-country payroll expertise who enjoys working in a dynamic, international shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
  • Perform payroll calculations including salaries, overtime, bonuses, taxes, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Validate payroll inputs received from HR and operational teams.
  • Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, payroll audits, and variance analysis.
  • Execute payroll control procedures prior to payroll finalization.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.
  • Support internal and external audits as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and statutory documentation as required.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for complex payroll matters and regional payroll regulations.
  • Provide backup support for other payroll activities within the Shared Services organization.
What You'll Bring
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree completed in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in Payroll Operations, HR Operations, or Shared Services environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-country payroll processes.
  • Experience working with payroll vendors and external providers.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in:
  • Mexico
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with payroll and HR systems such as:
  • ADP
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • BUK
  • Similar HRIS/Payroll platforms
  • Knowledge of Time & Attendance systems.
  • Strong payroll reporting, reconciliation, and data validation capabilities.
