Optima Organizational Solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR for two manufacturing facilities in the Monterrey area. You will partner with plant leadership to align people strategies with operational goals.

This hands-on HR leader will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, training, performance management, and succession planning while ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.
  • 7–10 years in HR, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience as HR Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or large workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and compliance.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruiting, development, performance mgmt.
  • Experience with high-volume hourly recruiting and staffing.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels; hands-on on the plant floor.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide HR leadership for two sites, partnering with Plant Management and functional leaders.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, training, performance mgmt, organizational development, and retention.
  • Develop effective staffing and workforce planning strategies for production and support functions.
  • Build strong employee relations practices and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws, company policies, internal procedures, and employment regulations.
  • Partner with leadership to identify organizational needs, strengthen management capabilities, and develop succession plans for critical positions.
  • Drive employee engagement, communication, recognition, and retention initiatives across both facilities.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on leadership, performance mgmt, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and employee development.
  • Monitor and improve HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, staffing, retention, training, and engagement.
  • Support organizational change, business growth, and continuous improvement initiatives from a people perspective.
  • Maintain a visible and approachable HR presence throughout both manufacturing facilities.

Our client, a leading furniture and home furnishings company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide HR leadership and support for two manufacturing facilities in the Monterrey, N.L. area. This position will serve as a key business partner to plant leadership and will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support operational performance, organizational growth, employee engagement, and the development and retention of talent. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on HR leader with strong manufacturing experience, comfortable working closely with employees and leaders on the plant floor while also providing strategic guidance to the management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide HR leadership and support for two manufacturing sites, partnering closely with Plant Management and functional leaders.
  • Lead and coordinate all major HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, training, performance management, organizational development, and retention.
  • Develop effective recruiting and workforce planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing for production and support functions.
  • Build strong employee relations practices and maintain a positive, productive, and respectful work environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within manufacturing environments.
  • Previous experience as an HR Manager, Plant HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar leadership role.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations or a large, complex workforce strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruiting, talent development, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Experience supporting high-volume hourly recruiting and workforce planning.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with employees at all organizational levels, from production associates to senior management.
  • Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced manufacturing environment and maintaining a regular presence on the production floor.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing HR metrics to identify trends and drive improvement.
