Job summary

Aspen Technology is seeking a People Services Specialist to deliver high-quality HR operational support for Latin America and beyond. The role combines hands-on HR administration with opportunities to lead regional improvements in a global, Follow-the-Sun model.

You will partner with Payroll, manage data accuracy, and support onboarding, visa processes, and HR documentation, while collaborating across regions and time zones in a hybrid Mexico City workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR operations or shared services experience.
• Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Business proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese helpful.
• Ability to work independently and in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn on the fly.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR administrative processes in Workday and other systems, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Oversee employment data accuracy, including job changes, compensation updates, and organizational structure maintenance.
• Partner with Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs, benefits administration, and regulatory reporting.
• Serve as an HR People Services contact for Latin America, assisting in visa processes, onboarding, and documentation.
• Maintain and audit personnel files, legal templates, and compliance documentation for countries assigned.
• Provide secondary support to global operations, assisting with onboarding, employee inquiries, and HR transactions.
• Participate in cross-training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build regional expertise.
• Act as a Tier 1 contact for employee and manager inquiries via Zendesk, resolving issues and escalating as needed.
• Maintain and update SOPs, job aids, and HR documentation.
• Contribute to global HR projects, including system changes and policy harmonization.
• Support team during peak periods and across time zones.
