Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a hands-on HR partner focused on employee support, HR administration, onboarding, benefits coordination, reporting, and HR process execution to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant HR operations.

You will work with plant operations and leaders to deliver practical HR support, maintain data in Workday, manage recruitment support, and contribute to HR projects and employee relations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• At least 3 years in HR operations or generalist roles.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies and standard processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, paperwork, and scheduling for new hires.
• Manage HR administration tasks and maintain employee files.
• Maintain Workday data and perform routine data audits.
• Coordinate benefits administration and open enrollment activities.
• Support Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services activities.
• Assist with staff movements and personnel record updates.
• Partner with HRBP on engagement surveys and headcount reporting.
