Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a hands-on HR partner responsible for employee support, onboarding, benefits coordination, reporting, and HR process execution to keep operations compliant and well organized.

You will handle policy guidance, inquiries, onboarding tasks, HR data maintenance in Workday, benefits open enrollment, and collaboration with Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services. A bachelor’s in HR and 3+ years exp in HR operations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR operations or HR generalist roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR-related laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and standard people processes.
• Serve as an initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate HR teams.
• Support onboarding activities, including preparing paperwork, coordinating schedules, and helping new hires transition smoothly into the business.
• Manage HR administration tasks such as salary certificates, statement of service letters, CSO reporting, and employee file maintenance.
• Maintain accurate Workday data, complete routine data audits, and support employee record integrity.
• Coordinate benefits administration activities, including open enrollment, changes, employee questions, and related training.
• Support Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services Centre activities, including recruitment support and the referral program.
• Assist with internal movement processing, employee lifecycle changes, and personnel record updates.
• Partner with the HR Business Partner on talent management processes, engagement survey coordination, and monthly headcount reporting.
• Support staffing planning by identifying future workforce needs with leaders and hiring managers.
• Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, and other employee relations matters as needed.
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, integration activities, and other assigned initiatives.
