Job summary

Ziff Davis, Inc. is seeking an HR Data & Compliance Analyst to turn raw HCM, payroll, and recruiting data into accurate, audit-ready outputs.

You will build dashboards for GMs, HR Partners, and leadership, validate outputs against source systems, and manage monthly workforce reporting including headcount, hires, and attrition. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HR analytics or compliance, strong Excel, and hands-on experience with Power BI/Tableau/Looker, plus familiarity with enterprise HCM

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, analytics, information systems, or related field.
3+ years of HR analytics, HRIS, HR compliance, or people data operations.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets with lookups, pivots, and data cleaning.
Hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of US employment compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
Experience with an enterprise HCM (ADP, Workday, UKG) and an applicant tracking system.
High attention to detail and discretion handling confidential data.

Responsibilities

Build, refresh, and maintain HR dashboards for leaders, connecting HCM, payroll, recruiting, and finance data with role-based security.
Validate dashboard outputs against source systems and document metric definitions and data lineage.
Prepare monthly and quarterly workforce reports (headcount, hires, terminations, attrition, span of control).
Test and tune natural-language and AI query tools and maintain a metric glossary.
