SHA Wellness Clinic in Cancún seeks Head of Academy to lead the Academy operations, implementing SHA's Learning & Development and Culture strategy locally, ensuring talent have the knowledge and behaviours to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will design learning journeys, manage onboarding, coordinate the SHAAcademy LMS, and partner with People and Corporate teams to align programs with regulatory requirements in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, HR, business or related field.
• Master's in HR Management or Learning & Development is highly desirable.
• Train-the-Trainer certification or related coaching qualifications are valued.
• Strong execution, planning, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create and update the annual Academy Plan aligned with SHA Mexico's priorities and the corporate strategy.
• Identify and prioritise training needs in partnership with departmental leaders and managers.
• Implement corporate Learning & Development and Culture programmes for SHA Mexico.
• Design and coordinate learning journeys by department and role, across classroom, virtual, and experiential formats.
• Manage and continuously improve the local onboarding programme, coordinating content, agendas, facilitators, supporting evidence, and follow-up.
• Design, implement, and monitor the internal Trainer programme.
• Coordinate training on service standards, operational excellence, and guest experience.
• Facilitate training sessions on culture, values, leadership, service skills, and other Academy-related topics.
• Coordinate career-development pathways and actions arising from performance reviews, in partnership with Managers, People Manager Mexico, and Corporate teams.
• Administer the SHAAcademy platform, or the applicable LMS, ensuring users, assignments, curricula, and records remain up to date.
• Promote innovation in learning methodologies and the digital transformation of training processes.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget, as well as training and Culture initiative suppliers.
• Coordinate events and initiatives that strengthen SHA Culture and the Talent experience.
• Coordinate and follow up on action plans resulting from Talent satisfaction surveys, in collaboration with the owners of each initiative.
• Oversee internal communication at SHA Mexico and ensure it is effective and aligned with SHA Culture, values, and established corporate channels.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team, setting priorities and objectives, monitoring progress, and identifying growth opportunities to ensure a strong and consistent Academy operation.
• Measure agreed KPIs, prepare reports and improvement plans, and keep departmental procedures and records up to date.
• Ensure the appropriate planning, coordination, and documentation of training activities, maintaining updated records, attendance logs, and certificates required by Mexico's Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (STPS), as well as other applicable Mexican authorities and regulations.
• Comply with all Information Security policies and procedures.
