Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking a Layout Design Engineer to join our HBM team. You will craft IC layouts for leaf and standard cells, tackle design verification, and collaborate with global engineering groups on challenging high-bandwidth memory projects.

Ideal candidates have a degree in electronics or related field, hands-on layout experience, and strong English communication. Relocation support is TBD; Micron offers comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Nanotechnology or related field.
Graduation from the program within the past two years.
Strong understanding of electronic circuit concepts and proficiency in circuit simulation or design tools.
Effective interpersonal skills and English communication.
Interest in semiconductor technology and willingness to learn and collaborate.

Responsibilities

Craft and develop IC layouts for leaves, standard cells, and sub-blocks with attention to performance, power, area.
Interpret DRC/LVS results to support accurate layouts.
Apply a systematic, detail-focused approach to problem-solving and verification while planning work efficiently.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams across global locations to drive layout projects.
Continue to learn and develop semiconductor design skills while contributing to HBM solutions.
