Qualifications

• Proficient English communication skills, written and verbal.
• 3 years of logistics experience with increasing responsibility.

• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate-advanced).
• Clear communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in the Freight Industry.
• Forward thinking with ability to implement new concepts/strategies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of team members.
• Manage spot transportation movements and drive profitable opportunities.
• Manage staff and distribute workload.
• Supervise EDI connectivity and document exchange processes.
• Serve as first escalation point for clients and carriers.
• Ensure daily goals met and monitor performance.
• Develop and distribute carrier and internal performance reports.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective processes.
• Proactively generate ideas to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Develop strong relationships with carriers and Uber's organization.
• Ensure carrier/customer performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Participate and/or lead carrier negotiations.
• Maintain consistent but efficient stakeholder communication.
• Develop contingency plans to maintain client satisfaction.
