Job summary

Siemens Energy is offering a Customs & Trade Compliance Trainee position in the STEM in Action Program in Mexico City. You will gain hands-on exposure to customs regulatory processes, document organization, and coordination with brokers, under supervision.

You will develop analytical, regulatory, and risk-awareness skills while supporting audits, tracking actions, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in international trade or related field.
• Full-time availability in Mexico City.
• Academic projects or internships related to customs or trade are an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican customs legislation (LA, RGCE, etc.).
• Professional working level English.

Responsibilities

• Support customs regulatory processes and trade-compliance activities.
• Assist with customs broker coordination and document follow-up.
• Support with CTPAT activities and records preparation.
• Assist with internal audits by collecting and organizing documentation.
• Follow up on project actions, controls, and deadlines.
• Maintain trackers, files, and customs records.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
• Support other operational, analytical, and admin tasks.
