Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Mexico is seeking an experienced trade compliance professional to help ensure global trade regulations are followed and goods move legally across borders. You will support policy development, documentation control, and internal audits while advising stakeholders on compliance matters.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of customs laws, export controls, and sanctions, plus hands-on experience with trade compliance programs and software.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions.
• Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations.
• Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters, including training and awareness programs.
• Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks.
• Familiarity with trade compliance software and tools.
