Job summary

Schneider Electric in Mexico is seeking a Customs Operations professional to manage import-export documentation, ensuring compliance with legal dispositions and correct clearance of shipments. It also ensures database integrity and BOM tracking across inventory systems, while coordinating with customs brokers and internal teams.

The role is Hybrid (2–3 days at the office), requiring 2–3 years in customs or international trade and intermediate-advanced English.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Customs or International Trade.
• Medium software literacy (Excel / Access / PowerPoint, SAP, 24 Annex systems).
• Knowledge of manufacturing, Customs, Logistics and International Trade.
• Intermediated-Advanced English.
• Note: role is Hybrid (2–3 days at office).

Responsibilities

• Digital and physical Record Keeping Control of import-export operations.
• Import-Export border operation in R&D center and Maquilas.
• Annex 24 Database integrity.
• BOMs follow up and upload into inventory control system.
• Communication with internal customers and suppliers (customs brokers).
• Support on back up activities for Northbound/Southbound operations
