Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in Mexico to design and run a worldwide supply chain across retail and operations partners. You will lead inbound/outbound or cross-functional processes on one or more shifts within an Amazon Fulfillment Center, developing and coaching a team of 3-7 Area Managers and 100-300 hourly associates, while embedding Amazon’s Leadership Principles.

You will mentor, train and advance teammates, execute daily capacity planning, and implement standard work procedures

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of operations management experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• 8+ years of operations management experience with data analysis focus and leading hourly workforces.
• MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• Lean techniques / process improvement experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers.
• Lead and develop a team of 3-7 Area Managers (front-line supervisors) and 100-300 hourly associates by embodying Amazons Leadership Principles.
• Act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when needed.
• Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression, performance improvement and recognition purposes.
• Execute Daily Capacity planning to guarantee success at the site.
• Create, communicate and maintain quality control policies and standard work procedures to Area Managers and associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to delight customers.
• Build and deliver productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements and partnering with other Operations Managers to balance labor.
• Evaluate performance objectives and metrics to determine inbound or outbound productivity requirements to achieve customer time, accuracy, and quality expectations.
