Amazon's MEX1 Fulfillment Center in Mexico City seeks a frontline Operations Manager to lead the Outbound team responsible for packing, sorting, and shipping customer orders. You will supervise 30–80+ hourly associates, drive daily productivity and quality targets, and ensure every package leaves the building safely, accurately, and on time.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes clear communication and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Formación

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience with six sigma tools and Lean techniques.
• MBA, or Master's degree.

Responsabilidades

• Safety & compliance: Own your team's safety culture and conduct daily safety walks.
• Shift management: Plan and assign work to meet daily targets and shipping deadlines.
• Quality assurance: Audit packing accuracy and labeling; implement corrective actions.
• People leadership: Supervise and develop a team of hourly warehouse associates.
• Hiring & onboarding: Participate in recruiting and design onboarding plans for new hires.
• Communication: Run daily pre-shift meetings and present operational updates to leadership.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and SOPs.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with receiving, inventory control, and transportation teams.
