Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business or Supply Chain Management.
• 7–10 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of Mexican regulatory trade compliance (SAT, Customs, Ministry of Economy).
• Strong problem-solving and auditing skills.
• Ability to lead and facilitate teams.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with local customs teams inbound and outbound shipments for MX (GMC, Ramos, GKN).
• Ensure Mexico brokers performance aligns with DAUCH objectives.
• Lead daily MX customs operations for imports/exports and manage direct reports.
• Administer Local Customs Operations Teams and KPIs.
• Identify and report potential violations of trade compliance laws.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for IMMEX and foreign trade laws.
• Perform periodic customs compliance audits and support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with MX customs and trade regulations by analyzing records and docs.
• Support IMMEX program administration (RAOCE, PROSEC, OEA, CTPAT, VAT) and renewals.
• Maintain proper recordkeeping of trade compliance documents forIMMEX and certifications.
• Provide guidance on customs inventory discharges and process improvements.
• Analyze customs entry information to confirm compliance with MX regulations.
• Communicate audit progress and findings to DAUCH Trade Compliance management.
• Implement preventive actions and new processes to stay compliant.
