North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. seeks a strategic leader to oversee trade compliance and governance across North America.

This role drives regulatory excellence, risk management, and business performance in a complex manufacturing setting. The candidate will lead international trade, customs compliance, and cross-border operations; develop policies, procedures, and training; and partner with senior leadership to align regulatory strategy with corporate objectives.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or global supply chain environments.
  • Proven experience leading leaders and large professional teams.
  • Strong understanding of Mexican customs regulations and cross-border operations.
  • Excellent communication in English and Spanish.

Position overview:

Provide strategic leadership for trade compliance and operational governance across North America, driving regulatory excellence, risk management, and business performance in a complex manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Drive a high-performance culture through accountability, execution, and talent development.
  • Align team objectives and performance goals with business priorities.
Trade & Compliance Strategy
  • Provide strategic direction on matters related to international trade, customs compliance, and manufacturing support operations.
  • Ensure compliance frameworks remain aligned with evolving business requirements and regulatory expectations.
  • Evaluate operational and compliance risks and implement sustainable mitigation strategies.
  • Direct the development and execution of policies, procedures, and internal controls supporting cross-border activities.
Customs & Regulatory Oversight
  • Lead international trade, customs compliance, and manufacturing support functions.
  • Drive regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and maintain policies, controls, and governance for cross-border activities.
Business Partnership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to drive manufacturing, supply chain, and business objectives.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives through regulatory, risk, and compliance expertise.
  • Advise leadership on trade compliance, operational risk, and cross-border business matters.
Corporate & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Provide leadership visibility through regular reporting on performance, compliance, and key initiatives.
  • Engage senior stakeholders with business updates and risk assessments.
  • Manage strategic relationships with external partners and service providers.
  • Represent the organization on governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • +10 years of experience within manufacturing, industrial, or global supply chain environments.
  • Proven success leading leaders and large professional teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of Mexican customs regulations, international trade practices, and cross-border operations.
  • Significant experience supporting import/export functions within complex manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale operational and compliance programs.
  • Experience interacting directly with corporate executives and multinational leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
