Clara is seeking a Financial Operations Lead / Global Controller to own end-to-end controllership, from monthly close to annual audit, and to modernize workflows with AI in a fast-growing Latin American fintech environment. The role reports to the CFO and collaborates with country controllers, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and external auditors.

Mexico City and São Paulo bases preferred; remote options available for the right candidate.

Formación

• 8-10+ years accounting or controllership experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
• Startup/fintech experience in LatAm is a plus.
• Proven track record leading annual audits with a Big 4 firm from planning through opinion.
• Deep NetSuite expertise and hands-on use.
• Experience deploying AI tools and automation to modernize financial workflows.
• Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, or business; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Bilingual English + Spanish and/or Portuguese is required.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end close and consolidation across all entities.
• Lead end-to-end annual financial audit with external auditor.
• Support treasury, regulatory, tax, and other financial requirements globally.
• Maintain internal controls, close checklists, and reconciliations as we scale toward public markets.
• Assist lenders, investors, and regulators with audited financials and due diligence.
